Warranty, Refund & Returns Policy
At GJ Handy (Trading) Ltd, we are committed to supporting our trade partners with strong warranties, straightforward returns, and responsive after-sales service.
Trade Returns
- Trade returns are accepted only with prior authorisation from our Customer Service team.
- Returned stock must be in original condition, unused, and within the agreed return window.
- Any unauthorised or non-compliant returns may be refused or subject to handling charges.
Warranty Coverage for End-User Sales
As a dealer, you benefit from our full warranty programme for all Handy-distributed brands.
- Warranty applies to machines purchased by the original end-user.
- Claims must be supported by valid proof of purchase (e.g. dated sales receipt).
- All warranty repairs must be carried out by an authorised service dealer using genuine parts.
Warranty Periods at a Glance
- Webb & Greenworks Range – 3 years domestic use (2 years batteries & chargers), 90 days commercial/hire.
- The Handy & Platinum Petrol/Electric (including Light Construction) – 2 years domestic use, 90 days commercial/hire.
- Webb Dynamic, Heritage & Legacy (Red Range), Platinum (non-petrol), Q Garden – 1 year domestic use, 90 days commercial/hire.
- Replacement Spare Parts – 90 days (30 days for wear-and-tear items).
Engines
Engines carry the manufacturer’s own warranty, provided in the engine manual. End-users should be referred to the relevant engine manufacturer or service agent.
Not Covered by Warranty
- Incorrect assembly or use outside the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Normal wear and tear or consumable parts.
- Damage from misuse, neglect, corrosion, or non-genuine parts.
- Any commercial or consequential loss.
- Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the first purchaser.
